Ep Review

Thomas Jensen is the Real Villain

The flashback reveals so much about the toxic family dynamics. Thomas Jensen didn't adopt the girl out of kindness; he did it to secure his own bloodline's safety. It makes the present-day confrontation in the forest even more intense. The way he treats her like a disposable object is chilling. This show knows how to build hate for a character!

That Prince Though...

Just when the mood gets too heavy, the Crown Prince shows up with such an arrogant vibe. His reaction to the 'unpleasant' scene and ordering everything to be burned adds a layer of dark humor and power. I love how he dismisses the tragedy around him. The chemistry between the leads in (Dubbed) My Ending, My Choice is already sparking despite the grim setting.

From Brothel Threats to Royal Adoption

The contrast between the gritty street scene where she is almost sold and the cold forest confrontation is stark. It highlights how her status changed but her value to the family remained the same: zero. The acting when she says 'No one ever loved me' hits different. It is a tragic origin story that explains her current darkness perfectly.

Visual Storytelling at Its Best

The lighting in the forest scenes creates such a spooky, isolated atmosphere that matches the protagonist's internal state. The transition to the bright, busy market in the flashback emphasizes the loss of innocence. (Dubbed) My Ending, My Choice uses visual cues to tell the story just as well as the dialogue. The blood on her hands symbolizes so much more than just a wound.

The Monster Was Made, Not Born

Watching the protagonist realize her adoption was purely transactional broke my heart. She thought she was saved from a life of misery, only to find out she was just a tool to protect Diana. The emotional shift from hope to despair in (Dubbed) My Ending, My Choice is masterfully done. You can see the exact moment her humanity cracks.
