The tension in this episode is absolutely insane! From the serene crane flying over the temple to the sudden appearance of that terrifying shadow monster, my heart was racing. The character design for the protagonist with the red streaks in his hair is stunning, but that purple-haired leader really commands the screen. Watching them face off against such a massive threat while dealing with internal drama feels just like the high stakes in I, a Ghost King, Bound?!. The animation quality during the magical sequences is top-tier.
