The Elder's presence is absolutely commanding in every scene. Watching him descend from the pagoda gave me chills. The way he handles the dispute between the disciples shows true leadership. My Disciples Made Me a God captures this sect hierarchy perfectly. The animation quality on his robes is stunning too. Really enjoying the power dynamics here.
The tension between the red-robed disciple and the blue one is palpable. You can feel the betrayal in the air. I love how the show doesn't shy away from direct confrontation. The pointing gestures really emphasize the accusation. My Disciples Made Me a God keeps me guessing who is actually right. The facial expressions are so detailed.
Visually, this series is a treat. The background architecture of the Dan Pavilion looks majestic. The lighting during the outdoor scenes feels very natural. I was impressed by the fluid movement when the Master lands. My Disciples Made Me a God has set a new bar for cultivation animations. The color palette is vibrant yet grounded.
Poor disciple tied up in the black robe looks so frustrated. You can see the anger in his eyes despite being bound. It makes you wonder what he did to deserve this. The storytelling through body language is excellent. My Disciples Made Me a God really knows how to build mystery around its characters. I need to know his side of the story.
Not everything is serious though. The side disciples gossiping in brown robes add a nice touch of realism. Their laughter contrasts well with the main conflict. It feels like a real living sect. My Disciples Made Me a God balances drama with slice-of-life moments nicely. The smiling blue disciple seems a bit too confident though.
