That guy really said let me nap first

While everyone is panicking about the zombie horde, this dude is literally chilling on a floating mushroom island. The contrast between the terrified girls and his relaxed vibe is comedy gold. My Plants Rule the Zombie World! nails the isekai protagonist energy perfectly. Also, can we talk about how the cactus has boxing gloves? Who wrote this and why do I love it so much?

Wait why are the plants so cute yet deadly

The character design for the plants is deceptively adorable until they start blasting zombies. Those pea shooters lining up like an army gave me chills! The scene where the giant mushroom glows with sunlight symbols was visually stunning. My Plants Rule the Zombie World! balances horror and whimsy better than expected. That chomper eating the electric zombie was both gross and hilarious.

The dynamic between the scared survivor group and the overpowered protagonist is peak entertainment. Watching the red-haired girl hold her gun shaking while he casually jumps off a mushroom had me rolling. My Plants Rule the Zombie World! does not take itself seriously and that's why it works.
