Ep Review

Heartbreaking Scene

The aunt dismissing Eva's pain was heartbreaking. She dumped pills on the floor, ignoring the child's plea. It makes you wonder what kind of household this is where a kid begs for medicine. The tension in Take Two, Eva! is palpable. I felt so bad for the little girl in the white hat standing there alone.

Manipulative Sister

Why would the other girl lie about Eva copying her? It seems manipulative to turn adults against her. The aunt believed it quickly without checking facts. This drama pulls at your heartstrings with these family dynamics. Watching Eva insist she was really in pain made me angry. Take Two, Eva! has truly gripping storytelling here.

Pills on Carpet

That moment when the pills hit the carpet was shocking. You could see the fear in Eva's eyes but the aunt did not care. It highlights the power imbalance perfectly. I am binge-watching this on netshort because episodes are addictive. The acting from the child actors is surprisingly natural. Take Two, Eva! makes me wait for justice soon.

Dad Coming Home

The dad coming home should be a happy occasion but instead it brings more stress for Eva. The aunt worries about luck instead of health. It shows her priorities are all wrong. Take Two, Eva! really exposes the dark side of blended families sometimes. The older woman just stood there watching which was weird. Hope the dad arrives to save the day quickly.

Not Faking It

Eva claiming she is not faking it for attention broke my heart. Children rarely lie about physical pain unless they are desperate. The aunt accusing her of lying was cruel. I love how the show does not shy away from heavy topics. The visual of the scattered pills symbolizes her broken state well. Praying Take Two, Eva! clears this misunderstanding soon.

Red Dress Girl

The girl in the red dress seems to know exactly how to manipulate the situation. Saying Eva copies her is a clever way to invalidate her suffering. The aunt fell for it hook line and sinker. This plot twist in Take Two, Eva! added so much layers to the conflict. I was screaming at the screen telling them to listen to the kid. Great writing.

Humiliating Order

I cannot believe the aunt made her pick them up off the floor. That is so unsanitary and humiliating for a child. It feels like emotional abuse disguised as discipline. The atmosphere in the room was so tense you could cut it with a knife. Definitely one of the most intense scenes I have seen. The costume design is lovely despite the sad mood of Take Two, Eva!.

Silent Grandma

Seeing the grandmother stay silent was frustrating. She should have protected Eva from such harsh treatment. Maybe she is afraid of the aunt too? The family hierarchy seems very toxic here. Take Two, Eva! keeps me guessing about who will step up next. The lighting in the house looks very modern and clean contrasting the dirty behavior. Interesting choice by directors.

Realistic Dialogue

The dialogue feels very realistic for a high tension family drama. No one is yelling unnecessarily but the words hurt deeply. Eva's quiet defiance was powerful despite her small size. I appreciate shows that give children agency in their stories. Watching this on my phone during commute was perfect. The cliffhangers are well placed to keep you coming back to Take Two, Eva!.

Pure Malice

Honestly the aunt's face when she poured the pills was pure malice. She enjoyed asserting her power over the child. It makes you really hate her character which means the actor did a great job. Take Two, Eva! is becoming my favorite series this month. I just hope the dad walks in and sees the mess on the floor immediately. That would be satisfying.
