The scene where the young man listens to his parents' story about the past, intercut with the flashback of the children in the woods, was incredibly moving. You can see the pain in the mother's eyes and the father's regret, but also the deep love that never faded. The way the son finally understands their sacrifice while eating dumplings is such a beautiful metaphor for family bonds. It made me want to call my own parents immediately!
