The interface showing the three upgrade options was so cool. Option three with the quantum devouring talent sounds broken in the best way possible. It is crazy to think a rejected A-rank unit can become an SSS god just by eating energy. This show really understands how to make power progression satisfying to watch.
The scene where the parents favor the brother and hand him the card while ignoring the main character was so frustrating. You can feel his anger when he stands outside that gate. But honestly, their loss is his gain because now he has a loyal SSS partner who actually respects him. Justice will be served soon.
The transformation sequence where the light beams turn into that massive white and gold angel mech is breathtaking. The detail on the wings and the glowing effects are movie quality. Trash Mech to SSS: My OP System definitely has some of the best CGI I have seen in a web series recently. Truly a visual feast.
It is refreshing to see a story where the bond between the pilot and the machine girl is stronger than family ties. She stood by him even when everyone else turned away. The way she looks at him with total devotion after the upgrade shows that 100 percent loyalty promise was real. Best duo ever.
That brother laughing while pointing at the gate made me so mad. He thinks he won just because he got the family money, but he has no idea what is coming. The main character is about to become unstoppable with his new system. I cannot wait to see the look on his face when they meet again in battle.
I love how the show clearly explains the cost and benefits of each upgrade path. Choosing the one that allows infinite leveling up to SSS rank was the obvious smart move. It sets up so many future battles where he can just absorb enemy attacks to get stronger. Smart writing in Trash Mech to SSS: My OP System.
One minute you are sad seeing him alone in the rain, and the next you are cheering as golden energy surrounds him. The emotional whiplash is real. The contrast between the cold family mansion and the warm glow of his new power symbolizes his new beginning perfectly. Great storytelling vibes.
The final form of the machine girl is gorgeous. Those white wings and gold armor look like something out of a high budget movie. The way she kneels before him shows respect and power all at once. This design is definitely going to be iconic for the series. Absolutely love the aesthetic.
The story moves fast but does not feel rushed. We got the backstory, the betrayal, the system awakening, and the first major upgrade all in one go. Trash Mech to SSS: My OP System keeps you hooked from the start. The cliffhanger with the blue screen and the chibi reaction was a fun touch too.
Watching the protagonist get kicked out by his family was painful, but seeing him activate that divine system in Trash Mech to SSS: My OP System made it all worth it. The moment he chose the infinite upgrade path, I knew he was going to dominate. The animation of the golden mech appearing was absolutely stunning and gave me chills.
