Can we talk about the fashion in Strangers Once More? The Empress's cream robe with the fur trim and that massive golden phoenix crown is giving major royal vibes. In contrast, the lady in pink looks softer but still elegant. The little boy in red with the dragon embroidery is adorable. Even during the fight scene, the clothes move so beautifully. It really helps you understand the status of each character just by looking at them. The production value here is surprisingly high for a short drama.
That Plot Twist Hit Hard
I was not expecting the husband to arrive right at the climax of the fight! In Strangers Once More, the timing is perfect. Just as the Empress is being pushed down, he walks in looking shocked. The way he rushes to the lady in pink instead of his wife immediately tells us where his loyalty lies, which is so frustrating to watch. The Empress falling to the floor while holding her son creates such a tragic image. This cliffhanger makes me need to watch the next episode immediately.
